Since 2005, the working group for entrepreneurship has been organising the Central German JCI Cup, which takes place every year. Businesses from the region and members are invited to play football for a good cause. The event takes place at Soccerworld at the Leipzig Old Trade Fair (Alte Messe Leipzig), where on this Saturday in April, up to 25 teams play indoor football against one another. Alongside providing an opportunity to have fun and to do some networking, this event supports a local project. Over the last few years, the Wege e.V. and the Freie Kindergarten Leipzig have benefited from the donations collected at the charity tournament.
