‘Business that achieves more’ – this defines JCI Leipzig. Our role model is the respectable businessman who takes responsibility for his surroundings. This is our priority for 2018.
Stephanie Pech, Chapter President 2018
Our projects naturally combine fun, training and social engagement with one another. Our working groups are responsible for the planning and execution of the projects. Every member can and should be able to contribute his ideas and contacts at any time for new projects.
All of our projects and events are planned and carried out by our four working groups. These groups meet once a month to discuss current projects and just like our monthly meetings, these groups provide our members with an opportunity for exchange.
Each of our members has a different reason for getting involved in JCI Leipzig. Many of our members value the opportunity for mutual exchange as equals, some members make new friends through the organisation and others would like, above all, to benefit professionally from the contacts they make and the insights they gain into the regional economy.
What our members however all have in common is that they volunteer their time with passion and they associate personal gain with social engagement.
Topics relating to international affairs are the main focus of the international working group. Exchange with regard to the promotion of mutual cultural understanding is given particular attention. For this reason, once a year we hold an event known as Expat Lounge at Club International and devote the entire evening to a chosen country and its national characteristics, with speakers, cultural contributions and as many expatriates present as possible. Alongside the organisation of intercultural training, the maintenance of existing national and international twinning partnerships is also one of our responsibilities.
Our annual charity projects are also a particular highlight, including the Running Dinner and our participation in the charity flea market in aid of St. Marys School in India.
We are always pleased to welcome new faces with a keen interest in our working group and warmly invite you to come by and take a look!
We usually meet togehter with the working group communication every second Monday of the month at 19:00 in different locations.

We have approx. 90 members who volunteer actively as part of four working groups on projects of great social significance. Our members benefit both personally and professionally from our regular and diverse training. Furthermore, many of our members use the numerous national and international conferences as an opportunity to conduct networking for their business. In addition, there is never a shortage of both sport related and cultural activities and all the fun that comes with them.
